Become pregnant while waiting for IVF

My husband and I had been trying to conceive with no success for almost 2 years. We were on the waiting list for NHS
IVF and were both incredibly stressed and upset by the whole situation. I had read some anecdotal evidence that
acupuncture could assist with fertility and having searched google for practitioners in my area was really impressed by
Lin's CV.

From the first appointment, Lin was very professional and reassuring and her passion for and dedication to her work
was clear. After the first appointment, I felt a lot calmer than I had done in some time and over the following weeks
noticed a reduction in my stress levels. After approximately 12 weeks treatment, my husband and I had a positive
pregnancy test and were cautiously delighted. Lin is very pragmatic in her approach and was supportive but realistic -
we would hope that the pregnancy would carry on, but there is never any guarantee. For the first 13 weeks of
pregnancy I continued to receive treatment from Lin to support the pregnancy. I am now 39 weeks pregnant and
looking forward to meeting my baby in the next couple of weeks. I would (and frequently do!) recommend
acupuncture with Lin to anyone who has experienced difficulty or delay in conception.
