(TCM), practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Manchester and Sale, Cheshire.

Dr. Lin Du BSc, MSc, PhD
Lin is a fully registered and insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and
the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK (ATCM). She is also a
member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN).
Lin treats various problems. She has special interest in women’s health and fertility issues.
Benefiting from studying and working in Nanjing University of TCM, the original place where
well-known Jane Lyttleton learned her infertility treatment, Lin understands well how to
incorporate western medical theory into Chinese medicine treatment, how to make the full
use of Chinese medicine in male and female infertility treatment.
Lin did her PhD on digestive problems with Chinese medicine so that digestive area is no
doubt her strong point. She also has great results in the treatment of pain. Lin values the
diversity of treatment in her practice where she might use a combination of techniques to

Dr. Zuowen Yu BSc/MBChB, MSc, PhD
As a qualified, professional practitioner, Dr Yu has a wealth of experience in treating various
health problems. In particular, he has expertise in rheumatological, immunological,
gynaecological and skin problems.
Dr Yu is recognized as an acupuncturist and TCM practitioner by The NHS Directory of
Complementary and Alternative Practitioners which provides a service to Local GPs and
allows them to refer their patients to locally recognized Complementary and Alternative
Medicine practitioners. He is a fully insured practitioner member of the ATCM (UK) and a
member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN), a professional special interest group for
acupuncturists dedicated to supporting those with fertility issues. Read more about him.
Both doctors have been educated in two disciplines – both TCM and Western medicine. Their
practice combines TCM with modern approaches. Chinese herbal medicine can be prescribed
either separately or in conjunction with acupuncture treatment. Furthermore, non-invasive
